Artist focusing on colourful abstract designs

Whilst studying chemistry at university, during the first long summer vacation I had the honour to stay as  a guest at the wonderful castle, Civitella Ranieri, Perugia, Italy. The castle is now home to a foundation for the arts, and has residency programs for writers, composers, and visual artists. During my time at the castle I took up painting and it has been my passion ever since.

My focus is mainly on abstract art involving colourful designs which I hope are pleasing on the eye. My influences come from all areas of life including  art, music and science. 

Over the years I have created paintings for pleasure and in particular to celebrate weddings. More recently my designs have been transferred to fabric for use in fashion garments. The mediums I use are watercolour, oil, inks and water based inks for screen printing.
